RISCA ARTS PROGRAM SPECIALIST - Job Application

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: To perform a wide range of tasks of varying complexity related to support of arts education across Rhode Island, support for the preparation of grant applications and supervision of the arts grants management system; as assigned, to assist a supervisor in monitoring, training and reviewing the activities of other staff as it relates to the grants management system; to be responsible for the preparation of state and federal reports related to the grant awarding and management activities of the agency; and to do related work as required.

Artist's Resource Trust (A.R.T.) Fund For Individuals

Artist’s Resource Trust was established in 1996 to provide support to the creative work of mid-career (aged 35 and older) visual artists who have demonstrated substantial commitment, development, and quality in their work. Grants awarded generally range from $1,000 to $10,000. They can be applied toward any expense that may enhance the artist’s ability to create their work.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant

The Foundation welcomes, throughout the year, applications from visual artists who are painters, sculptors and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. There are no deadlines. Grants are intended for a one-year period of time. Amounts range up to $30,000.

RISCA Opportunity Grant

This grant is available to arts and culture workers that live in Rhode Island, and are over the age of 18.
Awarded funds can be used for unique, short-term opportunities that will support professional development.
Amount: Up to $1,000.
