Thank you for your interest in teaching a workshop with us!
DETAILS
The Collaborative Lab for Creative Experimentation is located at 508 Main Street.
The space accommodates up to 20 participants for workshops in a variety of mediums including visual, written, music, spoken word/poetry, digital photography and more.
Compensation and Materials
The Collaborative and the instructor discuss and come to an agreement for a flat-fee compensation. We encourage instructors to determine a course fee that compensates them fairly for their time and is accessible to diverse audiences. The Collaborative does not supply materials needed to carry out workshops, so this should be a consideration when setting course fees. The Collaborative will pay the instructor via PayPal or mailed check within 48 hours of event completion.
Promotion
The Collaborative agrees to prepare a design to promote the workshop/event on our social media sites (Facebook and Instagram) as well as our website. We require the instructor(s) to share a: bio or artist statement and a description of the workshop. As much as possible, we expect instructors to share the work of promotion in order to maximize awareness of the workshop/event.
Services & Expectations:
Instructor(s) will teach the class or lead the performance described in, at the location and during the time period(s) specified in, the Program Contract (below). Instructor(s) will arrive on time to each class prepared to teach, oversee student work, and participate in evaluations. If Instructor(s) will be late or is not able to attend a class session, they will notify the Executive Director at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of class. If Instructor(s) misses a class, they will reschedule the class promptly. If Instructor(s) is unable to reschedule for any reason, compensation will be prorated for hours served only.
