Samantha was born in Massachusetts but now resides in Middletown, RI. Samantha became inspired by watercolors in 2017 and it has become her primary medium since. Much of her work is inspired by her original career path in animal biology, and environmental education. Samantha spends a majority of her time creating, and hiking, and photographing nature, which then becomes the inspiration for her work. Samantha has no formal training in art, but rather has experimented with many mediums since 2012 until finding her passion for painting nature. Samantha hopes to expand her work to include more pointillism and acrylics, and eventually own her own gallery.
