About Kevin:
“I went to school for art, but I was the typical starving artist after college so my Dad talked me into working at Amgen.
I have worked there since 2005, & had basically stopped drawing in 2009. Then in March of 2016 my Dad developed a brain tumor & I started drawing again as a form of therapy to deal with the situation. Unfortunately my Dad passed away in 2017, but I have been drawing ever since his biopsy at RI Hospital & I am currently working on my 58th drawing since then. I have done some small shows, sold some copies, entered contests, drawn commissioned drawings, but what really makes me happy is when I give a kid a free copy of one of my drawings & see the smile on their face that someone is doing something nice for them without looking for something in return! I would like it to eventually turn it into some sort of career for me, but even if it doesn’t I do it in remembrance of my Dad & because I enjoy drawing & trying to show there is still people that want to spread good in this world!”
