Alexa is an acrylic painter currently on her last semester at Roger Williams University, finishing a degree in criminal justice and psychology. Alexa is working towards becoming a licensed mental health counselor within the prison setting, and hopes to incorporate different forms of art into therapy practice. She started her arts career in photography but decided to branch out of her comfort zone and complete a semester-long painting course about two years ago, and has loved it ever since. Alexa’s inspiration comes mostly from traveling, hiking, and new experiences.
