Forrest Curl is a Rhode Island based Artist and Tattooer. When He is not in his studio drawing on people’s bodies or ruining expensive pieces of paper He can be found hiding in trees looking for deer or prowling the coast line of Block Island with a 10 foot surf Rod in his hand looking for Sripers.
His current series of paintings ”No Roses Grow on a Sailor’s Grave“ is based on the practice of adorning whale’s teeth with scrimshaw.
