My name is Rachel Rasnick. I am an artist from Barrington, Rhode Island, and I am on the Autism Spectrum. I started painting as part of a program called Studio57 at Looking Upwards RI, a program for adults with disabilities. I fell in love with painting and have been encouraged by many people to continue and share my work with others.
In addition to painting at Looking Upwards, I make pottery and jewelry at Downtown Designs in Newport, and I also do art at the Outsider Collective in Pawtucket. My paintings make people happy and sell so quickly that I can’t keep up with demand. That’s why I decided to create a series of prints so more people can enjoy my art!! I love painting with bright colors and hope my art makes people happy.
