Here is what we've got going on at the gallery...
The 3rd Annual Small Works Show is on view until January 18th! In case you missed it, now's your chance to check out amazing artwork from over 50 local artists!
And, the Conversation He(art) Show will be opening on January 30th! You won't want to miss this special exhibition that explores all things Valentine's Day — the sweet, sour, sad, sentimental, and so much more! What does your heart say?
In February, the new 2025 gallery program kicks in at both 4 Market Street and 508 Main Street... More walls and more opportunities for artists to exhibit!
Market Street will feature 12 Artist Collaborators (with more room to exhibit for each artist!) and the Youth Artist of the Month. Main Street will welcome five new Artist Collaborators and the Feature Artist of the Month. Feature Artists will have the opportunity to showcase larger-scale installations on the prominent 'big wall.'
And at The Collaborative Lab...
Beginning Saturday, January 11th from 2:30-4:30pm, get ready to unleash your creativity and share your voice with the world in a Podcasting 101 Workshop Series! Join Louis Oppenheimer for this 4-part series that takes you from concept to creating your own final podcast! Sessions will take place on Saturday, January 11th, Saturday, January 18th, Saturday, January 25th, and Saturday, February 1st.
Next up, on Sunday, January 12th from 1-4pm, join artist and educator Faye Silvia for a Paper Making Workshop! Collaborate with classmates to learn the process of paper making. Create paper pulp from recycled and natural materials. Press your own sheets to later use in works of art!
Last, but certainly not least, we're collaborating with Church Street Press (13 Church Street, Warren) for a Collagraph Printmaking Workshop with Deb Talbot on Sunday, January 19th from 10am-5pm! During the workshop participants will create a collagraph plate, learn how to ink the plates and print on different papers. Participants will learn the different inking options that can change the look of your print entirely, and the use of dry vs dampened paper. We hope to see you there and be sure to bring lunch!
Cheers,
The Collaborative
