View this email in your browser Hello Folks, Valentine's Day is almost here and creativity is in the air! Join us this February for a bunch of fun and heartwarming happenings!  We've got an opening for two feature artists, a special Valentine's Day exhibition reception, and two fantastic workshops coming up. Read on to learn more! Here is what we've got going on at the gallery...  Our special showcase, the Conversation HeART Show is on view until February 16th with a reception on Thursday, February 13th from 6-8pm! You won't want to miss this exhibition that explores all things Valentine's Day — the sweet, sour, sad, sentimental, and so much more! What does your heart say?   And at The Collaborative Lab...  We're starting off the month with the opening for Feature Artists Grant Craig and Talia Clark! Join us on Thursday, February 6th from 6-8pm to see Craig's expressive paintings and Talia's illustrative works! On Sunday, February 9th from 1-4pm, celebrate Valentine’s Day in a Valentine's Workshop with Faye Silvia! Make a Valentine for a loved one or for yourself. Mixed media supplies available including a variety of papers, markers, paints, stamps, and decorative paper cutters. Pick from premade designs or make your own from scratch!   Lastly, on Sunday, February 16th from 10am-5pm, we are collaborating offsite with Artist Deb Talbot at Church Street Press, 13 Church Street, Warren for a Monotype Printmaking Workshop!  Monotype is a direct printmaking method and is full of possibilities! This one-day workshop offers a monotype experience while exploring composition, color, and thematic context. Abstract and/or representational interpretations are explored through line, shape, and texture, painterly approaches, additive and subtractive techniques, and the use of stencils.
