Chris Monti is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player whose original songs are influenced by Rock and Roll, Country-Blues and Old-Time Fiddle Music as well as music from West Africa, Egypt and India. In addition to playing solo he also currently performs with Big Biscuit, Wilbur Hill and The Chris Monti Trio.
Chris has toured the East Coast, opened many times for country-blues great Paul Geremia, played with Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, played Terry Riley's "In C" with a hundred-piece ensemble, and played the world's largest hurdy gurdy for "Hurdy Gurdy Pallooza". Chris is also an amateur naturalist and avid bird watcher.
