About Jayne:

Jayne McQuaid, a New England native, graduated from UMASS Dartmouth with a BFA in painting and currently resides in Bristol, RI.

Jayne’s unique style is a combination of line and color on wood. She embraces the natural grains in the wood with light washes and mimicked lines. In turn, this allows her subjects to be connected with the canvas for a raw and honest feeling. Now whether the image is representational or abstract, the combinations of color, composition and line reveal the process of her work.
