My name is Cheryl, and I am a watercolorist. l'm thankful that I grew up in a household full of talented artists and musicians who heavily influenced my own artistic journey. While attending high school, my teachers recognized my talent and potential, and encouraged me to skip study class to double up on art classes. During this time, I applied for and was accepted into the Massachusetts College of Art program for high school students looking to pursue a career in art. After a brief break after high school, I returned to earn my Associates Degree in Graphic Design, a career in which I've devoted over 20 years. Throughout the years, I've dabbled in many different art mediums, but my heart and passion lie with watercolor. I found I had a true passion and natural talent for it, and have committed myself to learning all I can about this wonderful art form. When asked whose works inspired me the most, I cite Norman Rockwell, Mary Whyte, and James Gurney as influences.
