The ghouls and ghosts of Halloween will descend upon {arc}hive and The Collaborative on October 26th. Eerie art will haunt you as spine tingling stories creep into your mind.   Mournful moans of music wend their way through the air. . .you are enveloped by horror. . there’s no escape. . .you have just entered the Oh, The Horror Story Night and Art Show.

arc{hive} will be open for snacks and drinks & the stories start at 7pm. Come early to grab your choice of poison, snack and a good seat.

Guy Benoit

creator of inexpensive horror films

Guy Benoit graduated from Providence College with a BA in English.  He has worked as a park ranger, dish washer, a dog catcher, a film-maker, a screen-writer, a journalist and a file clerk, amongst other things.  A video he directed for Six Finger Satellite was featured in an episode of Beavis & Butthead.  It was also shown on MTV’s 120 Minutes.  They did not spell his name correctly.  Many years ago, he travelled the country with a punk rock band.  He admires Muhammad Ali, Richard Pryor, Van Dyke Parks, Mission Of Burma, The Newspeak Film Group, Sandy MacDonald and His Family.  He has lived in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and California.  He enjoys conversing with sane people.

Victoria L. Dalpe

lifelong reader, watcher, writer and artist of all things monstrous, horror-filled and terrifying. 

Victoria Dalpe is a Providence-based horror writer and painter. Her short fiction has appeared in over 45 anthologies.She wrote the gothic novel Parasite Life and the horror collection, Les Femmes Grotesques. The first in her new dark fantasy series SELENE SHADE: Resurrectionist for Hire came out in September 2024 with Clash Books. “Dalpe’s horror stories are equal parts intriguing, compelling, and appropriately macabre. Eve Kerrigan

Eve Kerrigan is a writer of fiction and personal essays as well as a teacher and editor. 

She is an enthusiast of all things amusing and creative. Her writing has been broadcast on The Public's Radio and published in Arc(hive), High Noon Magazine, and L'Allure Des Mots among other publications. Eve also enjoys drawing, taking photos, and hanging out. at the beach with her family.

Lisa Narcisi Stewart

spent a considerable amount of time in a casket company as a child, an experience which has led to her fascination with creepy and gothic tales.  

Lisa Narcisi Stewart is a teacher, reader, and writer of various genres who loves adventures with her family and friends.

Brandon Perras-Sanchez

is a queer Cuban filmmaker and writer inspired by the dark side of folklore, fantasy and mythology- the horrors found within these worlds have always felt like home. 

Brandon Perras-Sanchez is a writer, musician, and filmmaker who is inspired by 80s horror, folklore, mythology, and noise rock. He grew up in the woods of Vermont but now resides in Providence, RI. He is currently working on future horror projects that he hopes will scare the shit out of you.
