Figure Drawing @ The Collaborative 498 Main Street Warren, RI 02885
Session Host: Alana Conlin
$10 or pay what you can (more is ok too!)
Tips for the model appreciated (and encouraged)
This is a unique opportunity for participating artists to connect with the human figure in a fun and meaningful way as we spend a night with other artists at the Collaborative’s Main Street Space.
This will be a warm and welcoming environment for artists 18+ of all skill levels to hone their craft.
During the two hours the model will set up in 17 different poses. Through exploring a variety of poses and props, the model will inspire you to think about human figure drawing in new ways.
We welcome artists working in a variety of mediums, including iPad, pencils, pen and ink. No charcoal or pastel. (email with questions about other materials.)
Host: Alana Robles-Conlin, M.Ed. has been teaching and leading community based art workshops in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for 15+ years. Her talents in providing carefully curated expressive art workshops for children and adults will be an exciting opportunity for patrons of The Collaborative. When not leading intensive weekend art workshops, or teaching elementary visual art full time, she is the creative director of The Marlborough Makers Artist Collective and a passionate community activist, creating her own “Art-avist” artwork through sculpture, digital and mixed media.
Model: Patrick St. Pierre (he/him) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Massachusetts with a passion for sharing his love of art with other artists and his community. St. Pierre’s art has been exhibited in galleries in more than 3 countries. http://daydream.gg/
