I am a local artist working out of Providence, RI. I work with many mediums - most often oil paint, acrylic paint, inks, or charcoals. Creation for me is a way to explore memory, connection, and alternative communication. As I see it, art is its own language; I use my work to communicate thoughts and ideas I otherwise find difficult, if not impossible, to share. Life is brought to the paper/canvas through thin layers, patience, and abundant trust. My hope is to leave the viewer having discovered something about the work, themselves, or a feeling not yet understood. At the very least I hope to provide even the smallest moment of intrigue or inspiration.
