T-shirt Yarn Workshop: Scarves and Necklaces

For Adults and Kids (ages 6+ accompanied by an adult)

Kids, bring your parent to this workshop that will show you how to create yarn out of cotton t-shirts (reuse/recycle) and how to arm knit and finger knit.
Forgotten t-shirts can now become a cool and stylish accessory!

Perfect for Mother’s Day presents!

Supplies will be provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring a 100% cotton t-shirt that doesn’t have seams on the sides.

There is a requested donation of $10 per Adult.

Marny Kindness is a local artist who uses all kinds of media, and mainly focuses on fiber and textile art. After graduating with a Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, she has worked in arts administration for nearly 20 years. She’s currently an exhibition manager at the RISD Museum. When not spending time with her family in Warren, RI, she volunteers for the Bristol Warren Education Foundation board and the Hugh Cole PTO.
